Fiorenzo Carpi was a composer who created music for the RAI TV drama “The Adventures of Pinocchio” in 1972. The music was performed at the Palazzo Reale (Milan) during the Milanesiana Festival in July 2020 and was also included in the ContempoRarities 2018 festival at the Santeria Social Club, with live drawing by Olimpia Zagnoli. The music was created for a TV drama directed by Luigi Comencini, which is based on the story The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Lorenzini, also known as “Collodi”. The story is not a fairy tale or fable, but rather a depiction of hunger and poverty.
