The Banda Giovanile Regionale Rappresentativa ANBIMA Lombardia on Tour in the Marche Region
The ANBIMA Lombardia Youth Band, composed of fifty young musicians aged 13 to 22, is ready to enchant the audience in the Marche region with two unmissable concerts.
On Thursday, July 25, the Youth Band will perform in Montalto delle Marche: the event will be held at the Teatro Comunale della Fiaba e della Poesia and is free of charge. The young musicians will perform after visiting the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and other extraordinary attractions of the small town, the city of Pope Sixtus V, rich in history. The concert will start at 9:00 PM with free admission.
On Saturday, July 27, the concert will be repeated in Santa Vittoria in Matenano, in the picturesque Chiostro S. Agostino. The ANBIMA Lombardia Youth Band will perform at 10:00 PM with a repertoire that includes works by the most important living composers for band. Notably, the program will feature “Cry of the Last Unicorn” by Rossano Galante: an extraordinarily beautiful and challenging piece.
This year, after the success of last year’s tour in Matera, the ANBIMA Lombardia Youth Band has chosen the Marche region as their new destination to share their passion for music and to offer a unique experience for both musicians and audience. Pierpaolo Arlati, president of ANBIMA Lombardia, expresses great enthusiasm for this initiative: “It is an honor to bring music and our young musicians across Italy. These concerts are not only an opportunity to perform but also to discover new realities and grow together as a group.”
Marcello Corti, renowned Italian conductor, known for his talent and ability to work with young people, leads the ANBIMA Lombardia Youth Band. Marcello Corti collaborates with the Milan Symphony Orchestra, Esecutori di Metallo su Carta, Enrico Gabrielli, and 19’40” (www.19m40s.com) to perform, record, and promote great music.
The concerts are organized in collaboration with the Corpo Musicale di Santa Vittoria in Matenano and its president Valeriano Pettinelli, who have significantly contributed to the realization of these events.
ANBIMA Lombardia would like to warmly thank the Mayor of Montalto delle Marche, Daniel Matricardi, and the Mayor of Santa Vittoria in Matenano, Fabrizio Vergari, for their valuable support and the warm welcome extended to the youth band.
